Bangladesh is a Muslim country and here getting married with blood relations is a common scenario for Muslims. But other religious people are quiet rigid on that matter. Mrs. Aysha Begum is a 30 years old woman from the Village Jamla under Dumki Upazilla of Patuakhali district was married with her cousin Mr. Kamal Ahamed. Her first three deliveries were done at home and her fourth child was born death.
Mrs. Aysha came to the LHCB Hospital on February 11, 2016 with her labor pain and it will wise to mention here that she never been gone to any doctor for checkup during her pregnancy. Immediately Doctor Justine checked her thoroughly and found the patient overweight. Finally, considering the overall condition and safeness of the patient, Doctor successfully completed caesarean delivery and had a male baby weighted four kilograms.
But the patient became seriously sick with excessive bleeding from her uterus. Doctor tried her best several times to stop bleeding and even for that tow bags blood also were needed to transfuse. Last of all, Doctor was bound to refer this patient to other specialized hospital at Barisal but the patient’s husband and her family members requested Doctor to keep the patient here in LHCB Hospital and continue her treatment.
The patient and her family members had lots of faith in Doctor Justine’s treatment and even all members of the family also had high confidence to the Almighty God. Assured by the patient’s family Doctor Justine continued treatment and became successful. The patient was cured within seven days and was released both of the baby and the patient herself with good health. But considering the patient future, Doctor motivated the patient and her family members to receive permanent family planning method and finally tube ligation was also done.
It’s a pleasant experience to encounter that community people have lots of faith in LHCB treatment.
